Service to the Community The Geelong Rotary Club is very involved in both the local community and in third world overseas countries. In conjunction with Barwon Health, Karingal and Gordon Technical College, we have completed a Health Centre in North-East Sri Lanka. In addition to this, our Club is involved in these activites:

The Old Geelong Gaol The Club manages the Old Geelong Gaol as a major tourist attraction in Geelong. The Gaol is open Saturday and Sunday to visitors. All money raised is used to support the club's community service activities both locally and overseas. |

The McKellar Centre
This is a new project which is setting about restoring an older building into 2 self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom units. These units will be available for short periods of time to relatives of patients who are undergoing rehabilitation or are in permanent care. Once completed these units will be handed over to Barwon Health for future management. |

Rotary District 9780 Donations in Kind Rotary District 9780 Donations in kind collects surplus and used book, clothes, crockery, hospital furniture and equipment and computers, then supplies them on request from our near neighbours in need.
